前世情緣，夢中尋覓。家國太平，英雄鑄成！影片是《神話》的姊妹篇，講述房教授（成龍 飾）在考古時挖掘出神秘的薩滿古玉，它引領著房教授和助手王靖（張藝興 飾）夢回西漢，化身骁勇善戰的漢軍將領，征戰于無垠的河西草原，率騎兵抗擊匈奴守護家國，並與匈奴公主夢雲（娜紮 飾）展開一段跨越千年的前世情緣。為尋真相，房教授和助手邀請好友雷振（李晨 飾）深入萬年冰川中找尋祭天聖地，欲揭開這段不為人知、橫跨千古的傳奇故事，卻遭薩滿專家赫伯爾（李治廷 飾）的阻撓……
